Yandel Will Tour With Symphony Orchestra: See the Dates

Who said reggaeton couldn’t be played with an orchestra? On Monday, Yandel announced that he’ll be hitting the road to support his Sinfónico en Vivo album, and he’ll be playing his reggaeton hits but accompanied by a live, symphony orchestra.

Yandel will kick off his run of shows with a show at El Choli — the nickname for Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot — alongside the Orquesta Filarmónica de Puerto Rico, directed by Cuco Peña on May 10. He’ll then head to Miami, Orlando, New York, and Chicago. The U.S. dates will see Yandel accompanied by Javier Mendoza, director of the FIU Symphonic Orchestra.

Tickets for the continental U.S. dates will be available starting Thursday, March 20 at 12 p.m. local time, although fans can access presale tickets on March 19. “My people, we come with a unique experience this summer,” Yandel wrote on Instagram teasing the tour.

The Sinfónico Tour will follow the release of Sinfónico (En Vivo), his 29-track LP, scheduled for April 3. The project features live performances of songs such as “No Me Dejes Solo,” “Explicale,” “Permítame,” along with singles “Encantadora” and “Nunca Me Olvides.”

The LP was recorded live during an October 2024 performance alongside the students of Mendoza at Florida International University, which Yandel — formerly of duo Wisin & Yandel — will continue supporting through a music education scholarship.
