Poker legend Phil Hellmuth has purchased one of the late Elaine Wynn’s longtime Las Vegas residences for $2.8 million. The two-story, penthouse condo is located in Park Towers, the ultra‑luxury twin‑tower development at 1 Hughes Center Drive, built in 2000 by Mirage Resorts and developer Irwin Molasky.
The building has long been associated with Las Vegas power players, including Steve Wynn, who maintained a condo there during his tenure at Wynn Resorts, and Terry Lanni, the late MGM Mirage CEO, who also owned a unit.
Hellmuth’s new home spans 4,903 square feet with four bedrooms and five baths. The unit spent 173 days on the market before selling for 5.1% below its $2.95 million asking price. Park Towers remains one of the valley’s most private addresses, known for concierge service, private elevators, a screening room, and wine cellars.

The building also historically appeals to gaming executives and high‑net‑worth residents because of its extremely high level of security — something that would have been top-of-mind to Elaine, whose youngest daughter was kidnapped from another Las Vegas condo in 1993 by two men posing as delivery workers. (Kevyn Wynn, 26, was released unharmed after her father delivered $1.45 million in cash. Her captors were arrested and prosecuted, and most of the ransom was recovered.)
Park Towers sits just east of the Strip near Paradise Road and East Flamingo Road, adjacent to the Hughes Center office complex.
This is the second of Elaine Wynn’s Park Towers condos to sell since her death in April 2025 at age 82. The first — a larger, more customized residence — sold for $8.25 million in August 2025. Wynn, co‑founder of Mirage Resorts and Wynn Resorts, was not only a major figure in Nevada gaming but also one of the state’s most influential philanthropists, particularly in education and the arts.
Wynn served as the champion of the upcoming Las Vegas Museum of Art, set to open next year downtown, keeping its vision alive via decades of leadership, funding and advocacy.
Hellmuth, a 17‑time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, confirmed to the Las Vegas Review‑Journal that he and his wife officially relocated to Las Vegas in December.
“Vegas has been very, very good to me and I love it here,” he told the newspaper, noting that the move places him closer to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the city’s expanding high‑stakes poker scene.
Hellmuth was represented by Karina Jett of Keller Williams VIP — herself a respected poker professional with multiple WSOP cashes — making the transaction a uniquely poker‑centric pairing on both sides of the deal.
