After nearly four years on the market, Ivana Trump’s opulent Lenox Hill townhouse has finally sold, fetching much less than its original $26.5 million listing price. The five-story home at 10 East 64th Street sold for $14 million, according to property records and first reported by the Wall Street Journal, down from its initial 2022 ask. Ivana purchased the home for roughly $2.5 million in 1992, shortly after her divorce from Donald Trump. The property was first listed following Ivana’s death in 2022, as 6sqft previously reported.

Constructed in 1879, the home spans 8,725 square feet, with an additional 700 square feet of outdoor space. Ivana enlisted designer George Gregorian, who had previously worked with her on the Plaza Hotel, to redesign the property, which formerly housed a dental office, according to The Real Deal.
The townhouse features a columned facade, a mansard roof, and gold-and-black grilled doors. Located within the Upper East Side Historic District between Fifth and Madison Avenues, 10 East 64th Street is considered one of the most lavish mansions on the block.

Over her three decades at the limestone townhouse, Trump transformed the 17-room, 20-foot-wide property into what the New York Post described as a “real-estate personification of her maximalist self.” The home’s extravagant features include gold accents and fixtures, animal print, and grand chandeliers throughout.
Double doors open into a grand entry gallery with an Italian crystal chandelier and upholstered walls. A curved marble-carpeted staircase leads to the upper floors, while a gated elevator provides access to every level.

Situated on the second floor overlooking East 64th Street, the main living area features high ceilings decorated with gold fabric and ornate moldings. The room also showcases a gold-embossed marble fireplace and four chandeliers.
The dining room, wrapped in gold walls, offers two seating areas, one framed by floor-to-ceiling windows with courtyard views.
Additional opulence can be found in the third floor’s library, adorned floor-to-ceiling with leopard print and even more gold accents. A doll on one of the rooms’ sofas is said to have been modeled after Ivanka herself, according to the WSJ.

On the same floor, the primary suite departs from the home’s lavish aesthetic with a softer palette of light pinks and greens, a mural, and private terrace access through French doors. The bathroom features pink Onyx marble, mirrors, and touches of gold, with an ensuite bath featuring a double sink, a soaking tub, and a separate water closet.
Three more bedrooms are located on the fourth floor, and the top floor includes a guest room with an ensuite bath.
Other features include a media room, a garden, a basement with a sauna, a laundry room, and extra storage space, as 6sqft previously reported.

The home’s long-awaited sale has been attributed to its extravagant design. In 2023, fashion designer and longtime associate Dennis Basso told the New York Times that “no one is buying the place and not redoing it.”
“It may have been done by the best designer of its period, but nobody with this kind of money wants a 30-year-old bathroom, and that’s how long she was in that apartment,” he added.
Ivana’s three children, Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka, who lived in the home during their teenage years, are set to split the proceeds from the sale, according to The Real Deal.
