FKA Twigs Kicks Off ‘Eusexua’ Tour in Paris: Watch

FKA Twigs is bringing her Eusexua and Caprisongs standouts on the road for the first time — and bringing back some fan-beloved deep cuts. On Thursday night, Twigs kicked off her Eusexua tour in Paris, bringing back some songs she hasn’t performed in nearly 10 years.

Twigs opened her show with a set featuring mashups of songs such as “Thousand Eyes” with “Mary Magdalene” and “Striptease” with “How’s That,” before performing Eusexua and Caprisongs tracks “Oh My Love,” “Honda,” and “Papi Bones” for the first time ever.

During the set, she also played “Glass & Patron” off her 2015 EP, M3ll155x, and “Numbers” from her full debut album LP1 for the first time since touring in 2016. Twigs performed an eye-catching sword choreography in front of a vibrant red screen during “Numbers.”

Twigs filled her set with stunning choreography in front of a set design of a giant cube and showed her best dance moves during a portion that mashed up Madonna’s “Vogue.” Twigs also made time for some unreleased songs, playing tracks “Perfectly” and “Got to Feel Love” during the show. (During “Got the Feel Love,” Twigs danced in front of a group of her dancers holding up metallic masks.)

The musician weaved her hits throughout the performance but ended her show with “24hr Dog” as she did a pole dance choreography and played her biggest song, “Cellophane,” during the show’s encore.

Twigs announced a small string of shows in January to celebrate her new album. The singer is scheduled to perform in Brussels and two shows in the United Kingdom. Twigs will then tour the United States, stopping in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco in March and April in between festival stops, including Coachella in April.

The singer is also hosting an Apple Music radio show, “Eusexua World,” months after the album earned a four-star review from Rolling Stone. “It’s the music that has inspired the creative world that we have built around the album — from the mood boards for styling to my choreography,” Twigs said of the show.
