How to spend a day like Dorinda Medley at Blue Stone Manor
If you’re a “Real Housewives” fan, chances are you’ve fantasized about spending a day at “RHONY” alum Dorinda Medley’s iconic Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires; who wouldn’t?!
Luckily for you, we — Danny Murphy and Evan Real, co-hosts of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” — got to hang with Dorinda herself while exploring the legendary estate, which was all decked out for Halloween.
And we have to give a special shout out to Tri-State Cadillac, who helped us get from New York City to Massachusetts in style in their sleek electric LYRIQ vehicle. Très chic!
From its appearances on multiple seasons of “Real Housewives of New York City” to serving as the locale for Peacock’s “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club,’ Blue Stone Manor has basically become a Bravolebrity in its own right.
And yes, the house, which was built in 1902, has seen its fair share of “Housewives” explosions.
(Remember Luann de Lesseps storming out of the infamous “Fish Room?” More on that later.)
But let’s begin with the “Peacock Room,” which is as gorgeous as it is historic — both in the lore of Bravo and Dorinda Medley.
The chamber was fully inspired by a lifelike peacock figure Medley bought at Barneys (RIP) and carried all the way up Park Avenue because she couldn’t be apart from her beloved statue.
The figurine later migrated from Manhattan to Massachusetts, eventually finding its permanent habitat in Blue Stone’s blue-hued sanctuary.
Fans “RHONY” may better know this room as the one in which Bethenny Frankel told Ramona Singer to “mention it all.” And oh, she did!
It’s also the home of Dorinda’s beloved Julie Heffernan painting, which has been turned into no less than hundreds of memes..
And now we must get into it — the “Fish Room.” Do we even need to explain?
This is the place that was not fit enough for a certain cabaret star (cough Luann de Lesseps cough), but quickly turned into a highly sought-after accommodation for all fans.
While we, of course, are not as chic as Countess Luann, we have to say the “Fish Room” exceeded our expectations and may actually be the best room in the whole house.
With windows that give provide a breathtaking view of the gorgeous outdoors to its own en-suite bathroom, the dwelling’s features were enough for us to want to grow fins and move in.
Blue Stone Manor’s dining room is the perfect setting for a classic “Housewives” group dinner, complete with spooky screaming matches and tantalizing tantrums.
The gorgeous tablescape was curated by interior designer and Christofle specialist Vincent Festa III. This year, the holiday enthusiast leaned into a “decomposition” theme, incorporating moss and more decor that made for a morbid — yet beautiful — aesthetic.
And, of course, Dorinda “made it nice” for us by whipping up her famous lasagna and some Halloween-inspired stew (the latter of which we politely passed on) to enjoy around the stunningly adorned table.
After making sure we were fed, Dorinda took us outside to see the manor’s pool. And we must say — the sparkling blue water was sure to be enough to convert even the most anti-Blue Stone Manor “Housewives.”

Personally, we would have to be physically removed if ever allowed the chance to take a dip.
Dorinda can relate, as she let us know she still swims during the chilly autumn months!
On our way back from the pool, we stopped to see the Goddess of Corn and tell her one of our wishes — which we’d love to share but unfortunately can’t because then it won’t come true!
Dorinda also showed off her giant, inflatable pumpkin decoration, which neighbors look forward to seeing every year — despite it once blowing away and rolling into one of their yards. Spooky!
The biggest treat of all for us, though, was spending time with Dorinda at her beloved abode — especially during her favorite time of the year.
