James Kennedy’s girlfriend, Ally Lewber, all smiles at event after boyfriend’s domestic violence arrest
Ally Lewber appeared to be in great spirits just one day after her boyfriend, James Kennedy, was arrested for domestic violence.
The astrologer, 28, took to her Instagram Stories Wednesday night to share glimpses of the Windsor Pre-New Year’s Eve party she co-hosted at the Short Stories Hotel in Los Angeles.
In the short clips, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum could be seen doing interviews, giving a speech in front of her guests and walking the carpet by herself.
Lewber was all dolled up for the event, wearing a black dress with gold snowflakes and pairing it with statement sparkly earrings and black strappy heels.
Windsor later posted an Instagram Reel giving their followers a glimpse of the event, which she called, “Magical & fun!!!🥂✨”
Kennedy, 32, did not appear to be in attendance.
Lewber hosted the event just one day after Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence, according to TMZ.
The DJ, 32, was reportedly taken into custody after police were called to his Burbank, Calif. home over reports of an argument between a man and a woman.
Eyewitnesses reportedly saw Kennedy grab the unidentified woman during the argument.
However, officers later told TMZ that the woman did not appear to have any visible injuries.
Shortly after his arrest, the DJ was allegedly released on a $20,000 bail.
It’s unclear if Lewber was present at the time of the arrest or if she is the alleged victim.
A rep for Kennedy has yet to return Page Six’s request for comment.
Kennedy and Lewber –– who have been dating since 2022 –– were seen smiling with fellow Bravolebrities at Kathy Hilton’s annual holiday party just hours before his arrest.
Kennedy has been open about his substance abuse over the years, while Lewber admitted that his drinking took a toll on their relationship.
“I like you better when you’re not drinking, but I’m not gonna tell you [not to],” she told him during a 2023 episode of “Vanderpump Rules.” “I think when you’re in control of it, you’re fine…”
During the Season 11 premiere in January 2024, Kennedy revealed that he was “not drinking” and instead “meditating every day.”
“I don’t think I will ever drink again. Ally definitely didn’t give me an ultimatum this time. This is 100 percent my decision. Technically I am still California sober. It just makes my day better,” Kennedy said. “California sober” refers to abstaining from alcohol and drugs, except marijuana.
