A 26-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested in Henderson, Nev. after allegedly making a death threat against Station Casinos CEO Frank Fertitta III over the company’s marquee signs memorializing slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

A Henderson Police report, obtained by KLAS-TV/Las Vegas, alleges that Thomas “TJ” Fedikovich made two threatening phone calls to a Sunset Station employee on September 12. In the first, he warned that “if the memorial was not removed from the marquee, then we would destroy the sign and take it down.” In the second, he repeated the threat, allegedly adding: “We’re going to take out your CEO, too.”
The calls were traced by officers with the Southern Nevada Counter Terrorism Center to a burner phone linked to an email registered to Fedikovich, a native of Madison, Wisc., who was arrested the following day at a Starbucks in Henderson that he was known to frequent.
Kirk, who was fatally shot on September 10 during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University, has since become a flashpoint figure in America’s deepening ideological divide — galvanizing supporters, inflaming critics and intensifying national discourse around free speech, extremism, and political violence.
Station Casinos ran the sign memorializing Kirk on several of its casino marquees, though Fedikovich apparently only saw the one at Sunset Station in Henderson. According to the KLAS, the marquees honoring Kirk were “taken down as a result of the calls and other backlash.”
Fedikovich was charged with coercion involving threats of physical force and harassment, KLAS reported. During his probable cause hearing on Sunday, bail was set at $6,000 and he was ordered to stay away from Sunset Station and its employees.
KLAS reported that Fedikovich posted bond on Wednesday but is still being held at the Henderson Detention Center.
