Landmark West! is hosting, “My New York: Community In Conversation,” at the Center at West Park with panelists sharing memories of growing up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, their childhood haunts, and stories of what it’s like being part of storied New York City families.
The panel includes Alexander Bernstein, the son of Leonard Bernstein; Katherine Wallach, the daughter of actors Eli Wallach and Ann Jackson; and Henry Zabar Mariscal, son of author and historic preservationist Lori Zabar.
It will be moderated by New York Times journalist Clyde Haberman.
This event will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 7 pm until 9 pm at The Center at West Park, 165 West 86th Street, in Manhattan.
Landmark West! is dedicated to building an inclusive community and championing a positive neighborhood quality of life for the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They are an architecture, arts, and culture non-profit that has achieved landmark status for individual buildings and historic districts since 1985.
