New York Top Real Estate Deals: Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026


There were 124 transactions totaling $224 million filed in New York City records in the 24 hours before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.
🏆 Residential: The top home sale to hit records was in the Upper East Side, where Robert Weisz, CEO of Rye Brook, New York-based real estate firm RPW Group, and his wife Cristina Weisz parted with a co-op at 895 Park Avenue for just under $20 million. The buyer was a trust. The triplex measures nearly 7,000 square feet and has 1,300 square feet of landscaped terrace. It has a private elevator landing and five bedrooms. John Burger with Brown Harris Stevens had the listing, which had a most-recent asking price of $21.5 million.
🏆 Commercial: The top recorded commercial deal also was in the Upper East Side. Young-Hee Lowe sold a five-story, mixed-use building at 49 East 78th Street for $10.8 million. The buyer was a company led by Gina Argento, who owns a production company. Lowe had owned the property, which has eight apartments, since the 1970s. It measures about 11,000 square feet.
📊 Residential: In Lenox Hill, Jason and Courtney Tofsky scooped up a condo at 150 East 72nd Street for just under $10 million, its last asking price. The seller, Zinman Family, LLC, bought the unit in 2014 for $11.2 million. The unit has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, along with a private elevator landing and wood-burning fireplace. Sotheby’s International Realty’s Wendy Arriz and Meghan Miller represented the seller in the deal.
📊 Residential: Anthony Sabet snapped up a condo at The Cortland at 555 West 22nd Street in Chelsea for $6.6 million, or roughly $2,700 per square foot. The nearly 2,500-square-foot pad, a sponsor unit that had an asking price of $6.5 million, has two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and north, south and east exposures. Related Companies is the project’s developer, and Core’s Shaun Osher is handling sales.
📊 Commercial: In Flushing, a two-story commercial builidng at 137-81 Northern Boulevard traded for $9 million. The seller was HIllary Realty LLC, linked to Han-Cheng Chen, and the buyer was Pegasus Holdings NY LLC, tied to Shaomei Xu. The seller purchased the property in 2003 for $1.9 million.
