Post Malone, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey Join Nashville’s New Year’s Bash

Tyler Hubbard, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, and Eric Church are among the other artists performing at the New Year’s Eve bash

Country newcomers and seasoned vets are headed to Nashville for an end of year country music celebration. Luke Bryan, Shaboozey, Lainey Wilson, and Post Malone are the latest to join the lineup of New Year’s Eve: Nashville’s Big Bash, CBS announced Wednesday. Tyler Hubbard, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Brittney Spencer, Chris Stapleton, and Zach Top will also perform during the entertainment special.

These artists will be a part of the 40 performances featured within the five-hour broadcast — some of it live, some of it pretaped — in the home of country music. Previously announced, Keith Urban (whose latest album High made Rolling Stone‘s list of the 30 Best Country Albums of 2024) will co-host, alongside Entertainment Tonight‘s Rachel Smith. Urban will appear live in Nashville’s Bicentennial Park, along with fellow headliners Kane Brown and Jelly Roll. The outdoor party will culminate in the dropping of the Music Note and a fireworks display at midnight.

Shaboozey joins the lineup after banking five nominations at the Grammys, notably for his record-tying single “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” Post Malone, meanwhile, dove into the deep end of country music with the release of F-1 Trillion in August, and pulled in two Grammy nods for “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen. Elsewhere, Wilson continued to introduce listeners to her “bell-bottom country” sound, which adds elements of Southern rock and soul into country; her latest album Whirlwind dropped in August and also appears on RS‘s Best Country Albums list. Whirlwind is up for a Best Country Album Grammy in February.

Country artists will also perform at other competing New Year’s Eve parties, including at ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, where Ernest, Hardy, and Blake Shelton are all on the bill.
