For the second year in a row, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, will be playing in the Super Bowl. This means that Swift will be a VIP guest at the game again, supporting Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles, the team Kelce’s brother Jason played on until retiring after last season. The teams last played each other in 2023, beginning a three-year run for the Chiefs competing in the Super Bowl. And if the Chiefs beat the Eagles again, they will also become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.

She was fresh off an Album of the Year win
Swift and Kelce give prom king and queen vibes. While she was trekking around the world on the biggest tour in history, he was in the midst of an all-star season. Swift had been cheering him on for months; her appearance at game in Kansas City was also their debut as a couple. But while she was in her WAG era, that wasn’t stopping Swift from climbing to the top in her own career. A week before the Super Bowl last year, her album Midnights was up for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. She not only took home the top prize but announced another album while accepting it: The Tortured Poets Department. The talk of both industries was whether they would end up both taking home the top prize in their fields within just a week of each other, further cementing their status as a power couple (as if there were any doubts on that in the first place).
She time-traveled to get there
The parasocial relationship with Tayvis was already high before the Super Bowl, so many fans of both were trying to figure out if Swift could even make it to the game in the first place. Immediately after the Grammys, Swift began a new leg of Eras Tour. She had a concert in Japan the Saturday night before the game in Las Vegas. Thankfully, she had the vastly different time zones on her side: Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Vegas so she made it just in time for the game, seemingly with zero jet lag.

Swift’s famous friends joined her in the VIP suite
No Swift appearance at a Chiefs game is complete without some pals. The Super Bowl is already a celebrity hotspot every year, so Swift’s suite was no exception. She was joined by Blake Lively and Ice Spice and had the Kelce family sitting directly behind her as well.
The kiss seen ‘round the world
For as much as people obsess over Swift writing about her current and former flames, she tends to keep PDA with partners to a minimum. But she and Kelce were not shy on the field right after the Chiefs won. She was by his side during the celebrations, sharing a victory smooch in front of all the cameras and smiling ear-to-ear as they greeted the crowd.
