TJ Maxx security guard slashed in face after trying to stop female shoplifters in NYC store

A T.J. Maxx security guard was knifed in the face when he tried to stop a group of female robbers from leaving the Brooklyn store during a brazen shoplifting spree, according to police sources.

The three thieves allegedly snatched $243 worth of clothing and shoes off the racks inside the Midwood store around 2:17 p.m. on Sunday before bolting for the door, police said.

When the 33-year-old guard attempted to catch and stop them, one of the robbers allegedly whipped out a knife and slashed him in the right side of his head, according to the sources.
