[Watch] Virat Kohli takes a fantastic leaping catch to send back Marnus Labuschagne for 72 in BGT 2024-25 4th Test
Virat Kohli took a stunning leaping catch to send Marnus Labuschagne packing on Day 1 (Thursday, December 26) of the fourth Border-Gavaskar series 2024-25 Test between India and Australia in Melbourne. With the grab, Kohli broke the 83-run partnership between Labuschagne and Steve Smith. Labuschagne walked back for 72 off 145 balls with the aid of seven boundaries.
The dismissal came in the 66th over of Australia’s first innings. Washington Sundar bowled a slower delivery outside off and dragged the length back than the previous one. Labuschagne used his feet in an attempt to clear mid-off but was caught by Kohli, who timed his jump to perfection. This was a neat catch by Kohli over his head.
