Samsung Galaxy F06 5G goes official

The Galaxy F06 5G is now official in India as Samsung’s most affordable 5G smartphone. The new device shares most of its specs with the Galaxy A06 with the major difference being the chipset. Galaxy F06 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, giving it full 5G support for India’s twelve 5G bands.

Galaxy F06 5G also features an altered camera island, which houses both the 50MP main cam and 2MP depth helper under a single piece of glass. The rest of the specs include a 6.7-inch LCD (HD+ 60Hz), an 8MP front-facing camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging. The software side is covered by Android 14 with One UI on top, and Samsung is pledging four OS updates and four years of security patches.
Galaxy F06 5G comes in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colors. Samsung will offer the device with an introductory price of INR 9,499 ($109) for the 4/128GB trim. The 6/128GB version will come in at INR 10,999 ($126). Both versions will go on open sale starting February 20 from Samsung India and partnering retailers.
