Honor 300 and 300 Pro official with 50MP portrait cameras, 5,300mAh batteries
Honor’s 300 series is official with the 300, 300 Pro, and 300 Ultra, all with emphasis on the portraits. All three phones feature 50MP main cameras and, more importantly, a 50MP f/2.1 selfie camera.
The Honor 300 Pro uses a 6.78-inch 2700x1224px 120Hz OLED display upfront with up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.
You don’t call yourself a ‘Portrait Master’ without some good imaging hardware. We already mentioned the impressive 50MP f/2.1 selfie shooter. The rear on the Pro features a pair of 50MP cameras – a 1/1.56″ main and a 3x telephoto with the same Sony IMX856 sensor we saw in the Honor 200 Pro.
The final camera on the back of the Honor 300 Pro is a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide with autofocus.
Like the Ultra, the Honor 300 Pro packs yesterday’s best chipset — the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Honor 300 Pro runs MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, with a slew of AI smarts, especially for imaging – you can remove objects, cartoonify your image, expand it by generating content, retouch faces, or edit using AI prompts.
There’s a 5,300mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The Honor 300 downgrades to a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The 300 keeps the impressive 50MP main and selfie cameras but lacks a zoom shooter. There’s still a 12MP ultrawide with autofocus.
The battery is the same 5,300mAh but you only get 100W wired charging.
The Honor 300 is up for pre-order, starting from CNY 2,499 (€326, INR 29,100, converted). You can pick from 5 different colors – Purple, Black, Blue, Ash, and White, and either 8/256GB, 12/256GB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB.
The Honor 300 Pro comes in Black, Blue, or Sand and in 12/256GB, 12/512GB, or 16/512GB, starting at CNY 3,999 (€520, INR 46,500). You get the Honor Buds A, an Honor tote bag, thermos, scarf, and a Koi-inspired bottle as a free gift with both phones.
