X Expands Access to its Powerful ‘Radar’ Keyword Analytics Option
While X’s Premium offerings have been enough to entice a significant number of users to start paying for the app as yet, its latest updates to its analytics tools could be a significant value add for business users.

This is a new element to X’s analytics tools called “Radar” which enables you to set up keyword analytics, so that you can track conversation volume over time, and measure topical trends related to your business and/or niche.
X first previewed the feature back in August, providing an overview of the potential benefits of the tool for maximizing your X efforts.
And now, X is bringing Radar to more users, with selected Premium+ subscribers now able to tap into this powerful new discovery process, ahead of a gradual expansion of access.
Which is still relatively costly. X Premium+ costs $16 per month, or $168 per year (when purchased on web), but for that outlay, you’ll not only get access to these more advanced analytics options, but you’ll also get access to X Pro (formerly TweetDeck), Media Studio, and its Grok AI chatbot, among other benefits.
Also, no ads. X announced back in August that Premium+ users will no longer shown ads in-stream.
So there are benefits to paying, even if it is an extra cost that you need to factor in. But if you’re serious about using X to market your business, and connect with your target audience, then the cost is probably worth it for these advanced features.
The challenge X has now is that it’s declining in value for most brands, so the demand for its Premium offerings has shrunk over the last couple of years. So it’s probably not seeing the take-up that it should, as more businesses look to other platforms to promote their products. But with 500 million monthly actives, and significant influence (still), it may well be worth considering.
Honestly, X Radar is one of its best additions to date, and if you’re also using X Pro, you could consider rationalizing your other social media management apps, and gleaning the full benefit of X analytics.
I do think this is a good product, and I wish X would have made this a focus sooner, rather than devaluing its paid add-on features by focusing on selling blue ticks.
But again, if you are still using X for your business promotions, this is worth considering.
