Gore Mountain Opening Day Nov 15, 2024Gore Mountain Opening Day Nov 15, 2024The New York Olympic Regional Development Authority has announced that Gore Mountain in Warren County, NY, will open for skiing, first to season pass-holders with a special Passholder Appreciation Day on Friday, November 15th.

On Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17, Gore will be open for all to enjoy with discounted lift tickets of $44 available.

Tickets are available in person only, and Frequent Skier Card discounts will not be valid this weekend. The mountain will be open with lifts operating from 9 am to 3:30 pm on all three days.

With colder temperatures the past few days, crews fired-up snowmaking systems on November 12 and began laying down a base on several trails with efforts focused primarily on the Tahawus trail, which will be open this weekend and serviced by the Adirondack Express II lift and the North Quad lift.

Return service to the base lodge is available via the Adirondack Express II lift. The open terrain is for advanced skiers and riders only. Beginner terrain will not be available opening weekend.

Retail, equipment rental, and food services will be available in the base lodge throughout opening weekend. The Saddle Lodge will be open for restrooms only.

SKI3 and Gore season passes can be purchased at goremountain.com at a discounted rate available until December 4th.

This opening weekend operations plan is subject to change as a result of weather and conditions. After this opening weekend, the mountain will close on Monday with the possibility of re-opening once again the following Friday, depending on weather and conditions.
