46th Annual Antique Bottle Show & Sale Set for May 31st

The National Bottle Museum (NBM) is presenting its 46th Annual Antique Bottle Show & Sale at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds, 162 Prospect Street in Ballston Spa, NY, from 9 am to 2 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Admission is $5 for adults and children 16 and under are free. Early admission is available for $20 at 8 am. Food and refreshments are available on site, provided by the Brickyard Tavern. Parking is free.
The show serves as the museum’s chief annual fundraiser and is attended by dealers and collectors from across the country. All types of bottles including early New England glass, stoneware, Saratoga-style bottles, and related items will be offered for sale.
Organizers say this year’s show is shaping up to be the largest such event in years, with over 50 dealers and 80 tables already booked. This includes 11 new vendors bringing new collections to the market.
The National Bottle Museum will hold two bottle raffles at the show. One for an aqua Civil War era “Union” Clasped Hands Calabash quart flask (GIV – 42), produced by the A.R. Samuels Glasshouse of Philadelphia, PA.
Tickets at the show are $3 each or two for $5. The second raffle for a pristine emerald Congress Springs “C” Saratoga pint bottle is free and open to all members of the museum. Winners need not be present for the raffle.
The museum will open on the day of the show from 10 am to 4 pm. NBM has updated many of its exhibits in 2026 including the pharmacy display now focused on three important eras of American medicine, a Saratoga Vichy Water hand fan from the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, and “Bottles & the Revolution,” celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
In celebration, the Jan Rutland Memorial Artists Space on the second floor of the museum is showing “Art of Bottle IX,” with all art having a bottle theme. This show runs from May 27-July 11.
The National Bottle Museum was established in 1978 to preserve, research, and exhibit bottles and objects related to bottle making, and to explore the economic and cultural impact of the bottle industry.
Located at 76 Milton Avenue in Ballston Spa, NY, the museum offers two floors of exhibit space, the Jan Rutland Memorial Artist’s Space, and serves as the visitor’s center for Ballston Spa.
